Córdoba’s fiestas in 2027
Córdoba’s festive year runs from the Cabalgata de Reyes to Christmas, with spring as the high season. Below, each fiesta with its own page; dates that are not yet official are filled in as soon as they are published.
Winter
The year opens with the Cabalgata de Reyes (Three Kings parade) on 5 January, and in February comes Carnaval, with its competition for carnival groups at the Gran Teatro and its parade through the centre.
Semana Santa
In 2027 Palm Sunday falls on 21 March and Easter Sunday on 28 March, so Córdoba’s Semana Santa (Holy Week) is held from 21 to 28 March, with the official route passing through the Mezquita-Catedral.
May in Córdoba
The Cruces de Mayo open the month in squares and streets of the old town. Those weeks also bring the Festival de los Patios, with private houses open to the public, and the Cata del Vino de Montilla-Moriles, and the month closes with the Feria de Nuestra Señora de la Salud at the El Arenal fairground.
Summer and autumn
June brings the Noche Blanca del Flamenco and July, the Festival de la Guitarra. September sees the Virgen de la Fuensanta and October, San Rafael, the city’s patron saint, with peroles, rice cooked out in the countryside.
Christmas
From the end of November, the lights, Christmas patios, nativity scenes and zambombas fill the centre until New Year’s Eve and the Three Kings. Each year’s Christmas page gathers the programme with dates.
