What it is / What you will see

In Priego de Córdoba the Three Kings procession is known as the Cabalgata de la Ilusión. In 2026 around ten floats took part, led by the Banda de Cornetas y Tambores Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno ‘Los Turutas’ and a brass band from the Banda Sinfónica de la Escuela Municipal de Música. Each of the Kings is played by one of the town's brotherhoods, and other floats are the work of groups such as Cal y Agua, Ficar, Amicar and Artesur. At the end of the route, Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar speak to the children from the Town Hall balcony. In 2026 rain forced the parade to be moved to the morning of 6 January and the route to be shortened.

Getting there and tickets

It can be watched for free from the street. It sets off from the Recinto Ferial Niceto Alcalá-Zamora y Torres, and the usual route takes in the Las Caracolas and La Inmaculada neighbourhoods before reaching the Town Hall. The traditional date is the evening of 5 January, but Priego Town Council, through its Festivities Department, has not yet published the 2027 time or route, which are usually announced at the beginning of January.
