«Descubriendo a Maky Popping» (Discovering Maky Popping) is a children's and family musical presented as a cinema-style show. It stars Córdoba actress Macarena Gómez, who also directs it, with Mikel Hennet, Alba G. Sinoga and the Joven Ballet de Córdoba. It is on Saturday 2 January 2027 at the Teatro Góngora, with performances at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm.

A Christmas musical with a Córdoba stamp
Macarena Gómez plays Maky Popping and also directs the production. She is joined by Mikel Hennet, Alba G. Sinoga as Cornie and the Nutcracker, and the dancers of the Joven Ballet de Córdoba. Musical direction and arrangements are by guitarist Pablo Salinas, at the piano, and choreography by Nuria García. It lasts about two hours.
Performances and tickets
There are two performances on Saturday 2 January 2027 at the Teatro Góngora, at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm. General admission costs €18 and children's tickets, up to age 12, €14. As of 5 November tickets were not yet on sale; the IMAE lists them as coming soon on its website and at its box offices.
