The municipal Christmas programme, bringing together the switching-on of the lights, the showcase of choirs, concerts in churches, Christmas patios and the nativity scene trail. The 2025/2026 edition ran from 21 November to 8 January; the dates for 2026/2027 have not yet been published.

What it is
Córdoba es Navidad is the programme through which Córdoba city council organises the Christmas festivities in the city, joined by other bodies with their own events. As well as the street lighting and the decoration of shops and houses, it brings together dates that return every year: the switching-on of the Christmas lights in Calle Cruz Conde, the Muestra de Corales Cordobesas, the Cantarillo series of music in churches, the Fiesta de los Patios de Córdoba en Navidad, the Concurso de Belenes (nativity scene competition) and the Christmas programmes of the Palacio de Viana and the Bellas Artes and Arqueológico museums. In the 2025/2026 edition the programme began on 21 November and ran until 8 January, with activities to enjoy every day with family or friends.
Getting there and tickets
The activities are spread across different parts of Córdoba, mainly in the centre and the historic quarter, so it is worth checking each event separately. The full day-by-day programme is published on the website cordobaesnavidad.es, and Turismo de Córdoba lists the links to the main events in its calendar. Many of the municipal events, such as the choral and Cantarillo concerts, have free entry until capacity is reached. The dates of the 2026/2027 edition have not yet been announced: the reference is 2025, from 21 November to 8 January. It is organised by Córdoba city council together with other bodies.
