What it is / What you will see
The Three Kings Parade in Palma del Río has set out to be inclusive. In 2026 the Town Council handed out 5,400 kilos of gluten-free sweets, so that children with coeliac disease could pick them up safely, and set aside a stretch of the Avenida de Madrid with no music or loud sounds for people with hearing sensitivity. The route was also extended through the Quinto Centenario neighbourhood. Balls are only thrown with the procession at a standstill, at four specific points. The parade ends in the Plaza Mayor de Andalucía, where the Kings and the Estrella de la Ilusión step down from the floats for a party with a DJ, foam and bubbles.
Getting there and tickets
It is free and is watched from the street. In 2026 it set off at 4:30 pm from the Teatro Coliseo, on Avenida Pío XII, and finished in the Plaza Mayor de Andalucía, in front of the Town Hall. The ball-throwing points were the area by the bar La Taberna, the Glorieta de la Ensenada, the stretch between the bar Uceda and Los Bombos, and the Glorieta del Parque. It is organised by Palma del Río Town Council, which will confirm the 2027 time and route in December.
