What it is
Every spring Córdoba's Feria del Libro Antiguo y de Ocasión, its antiquarian and second-hand book fair, brings together numerous bookshops from different parts of Spain. Their stalls mix bargain books with real bibliographic gems waiting to be discovered by collectors and curious readers. Alongside, the site itself hosts a programme of activities for children, which makes it a family plan. In 2026 it held its 45th edition between 10 April and 3 May, coinciding with the start of Córdoba's festive spring. It is by now a classic date for anyone who enjoys rummaging through shelves in the open air.
Getting there and tickets
The fair is set up on the Bulevar del Gran Capitán, right in the centre of Córdoba and a few minutes' walk from the Plaza de las Tendillas. In 2026 it opened from 10 am to 2 pm and from 5 pm to 9 pm, with free entry while capacity allows. More information at cultura.cordoba.es. It is organised by Córdoba City Council's Department of Culture and Historic Heritage.
