What it is / What you will see
Baena welcomes the Three Kings with one of the largest processions in the Campiña: in 2026 it was made up of 18 floats, seven street acts and a brass band, and the Town Council alone handed out more than 4,500 sweets and 2,000 soft toys. The traditional route sets off from the Juan Carlos I sports hall and continues along Salvador Muñoz, Avenida de Cervantes, Virrey del Pino, Plaza de España and Cardenal Herranz Casado to the Plaza de la Constitución. There the Kings go up to the balcony of the Casa de El Monte, speak to the children and give them a present. In the morning they visit the town's care homes and convents.
Getting there and tickets
It can be watched for free from any point along the route through the centre of Baena. The traditional date is the evening of 5 January; in 2026 the forecast of rain meant the parade was moved to the 6th at 11 am, with the same route. Baena Town Council has not yet published the 2027 start time, which is usually announced in the days beforehand together with Their Majesties' schedule of visits.
