What it is
"Efímero" is the pairing dinner with which Bodegas Mezquita bids farewell to FLORA 2026, the Festival Internacional de las Flores. The menu has been designed by José Ramón Cuadra, the group's executive chef, and is built around five courses that tell the life cycle of a flower: Brote (bud), Flor (flower), Madurez (maturity), Tierra (earth) and Efímero (ephemeral). The journey runs from a cream of peas with smoked sardine to a tataki of dry-aged beef, and each dish arrives with wines and vermouths chosen for the occasion. With only 40 diners, it is an intimate dinner for anyone who wants to close the flower festival seated at the table and try the group's signature cuisine.
Getting there and tickets
The dinner takes place on Thursday 22 October 2026, the closing day of FLORA, at Bodegas Mezquita Corregidor, in Córdoba. The price is 45 euros in advance until 18 October and 55 euros from the 19th. Bookings are made on the official Bodegas Mezquita website; tickets are non-refundable and capacity is limited to 40 people. It is organised by the Bodegas Mezquita group.
