What it is
The Fundación Cajasol closes the Córdoba: Moda con Alma series, coordinated by Amalia González Aroca, with a session devoted to jewellery, one of the trades that weighs most in the city's economy and identity. Álvaro Larrosa will survey contemporary Córdoba jewellery, in which time-honoured craftsmanship sits alongside 3D design, and in which many workshops have an international outlook. The talk will end with a catwalk presentation of pieces to show the stage presence of jewellery as a symbol of identity. This year the series has brought together sessions on flamenco design, crafts and local talent, and earlier it devoted a session to Elio Berhanyer.
