Fundación Cajasol and the Plataforma del Voluntariado de Córdoba organize the free workshop “Caring for the Caregiver” on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 10:00 at Fundación Cajasol headquarters (Ronda de los Tejares 32). Caregivers also need care
This is the third of four free autumn workshops that Fundación Cajasol and the Plataforma del Voluntariado de Córdoba schedule between September and November. This one focuses on self-care and the emotional well-being of people who dedicate time to supporting and accompanying others, so that this work can be sustained without burnout. The other workshops in the series cover volunteer initiation, social skills, and digital tools.
What is covered
The session offers resources and strategies to recognize emotional burnout before it takes its toll, set boundaries, and care for yourself while caring for others. It is designed for volunteers of social organizations but also for anyone who supports a family member, neighbor, or friend. The goal is to maintain volunteer work over time without it negatively affecting those who do it.
When, where, and registration
The workshop is on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 10:00 at Fundación Cajasol headquarters in Córdoba, at Ronda de los Tejares 32. It is free, but spots are limited and you must register in advance with the Plataforma del Voluntariado de Córdoba, which is located at Casa Ciudadana (Ronda del Marrubial). The final workshop in the series, on digital tools, will be on November 11.
