What it is
Sonraíz is a festival in Carcabuey, in Córdoba's Subbética, that mixes contemporary roots music, electronica and tradition with crafts, local food and gatherings about new ways of living in the countryside. It is held over a weekend in September; for 2027 it is expected from 17 September to 19 September 2027. The fifth edition, in 2026, was headlined by Queralt Lahoz, Blanca Paloma, Cristina Len and La Yegros, and put the focus on conscious creation and the gender perspective. It is a good excuse to get to know one of the prettiest villages in the Subbética.
Getting there and tickets
Carcabuey is an hour and a quarter by car from the city of Córdoba, between Cabra and Priego de Córdoba. In 2026 there were day tickets as well as festival passes, on sale on the festival's website, with some of the activities open to all in the village. It has the support of Carcabuey Town Council and the Diputación de Córdoba; the line-up is announced in summer. Note: the dates given are an estimate based on the usual calendar, not an official announcement.
