What it is

“Violeta” is the exhibition that brings the work of two generations of one family to the Centro de Arte Rafael Botí: the acclaimed Córdoba painter and printmaker José Luis Muñoz and the artist and illustrator Violeta Muñoz. The show sets the career of an artist established in painting and printmaking in dialogue with the eye of an illustrator, and lets you take in both bodies of work in one space. It opens on Tuesday 29 September at 19:00 and stays open until 1 November 2026. It is put on by the Fundación Provincial de Artes Plásticas Rafael Botí, part of the Diputación de Córdoba, which programmes exhibitions by artists linked to the city and the province at its premises on calle Manríquez.

Getting there and tickets

The exhibition is at the Centro de Arte Rafael Botí, at calle Manríquez, 5, right in Córdoba's old town. Entry is free until capacity is reached, with no need to buy or book. Opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 20:30, and Sundays and public holidays, from 10:00 to 14:00; the centre is closed on Mondays. The opening, which is open to the public, is on Tuesday 29 September at 19:00. Organised by the Diputación de Córdoba's Fundación Provincial de Artes Plásticas Rafael Botí, whose website (fundacionrafaelboti.com) has further information.
