What it is
Fuentes. Testigos para la historia is an exhibition of watercolours by Made Gallardo on show at the Archivo Histórico Provincial de Córdoba. As its title suggests, the exhibition focuses on fountains and presents them as witnesses to history, seen through watercolour. It is a small, free exhibition, which also gives you a look inside the Archivo's building on calle Pompeyos, right in the historic centre. The council's listings include it among the city's exhibitions, and the Archivo publicises its activities through its Facebook page. It makes a good short morning outing to combine with a stroll through the old town, especially over the Pilar long weekend.
Getting there and tickets
The exhibition is at the Archivo Histórico Provincial de Córdoba, calle Pompeyos, 6, and can be visited until 16 October 2026. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00, and, exceptionally, the Archivo also opens over the Pilar long weekend, on 10, 11 and 12 October. Entry is free and no booking is needed, according to the council listing. For any updates, the Archivo Histórico Provincial publishes its information on its Facebook page.
