What it is / What you'll see
The Teatro Garnelo hosts a tribute to Los Panchos, the bolero trio that left its mark on several generations, as one of the cultural dates in the new line-up of the Ayuntamiento de Montilla's A+Edad programme. That line-up, with culture, social, leisure, wellbeing and travel activities in October and November, grew out of the TRAMAS participatory process, in which older people, professionals and organisations set out during 2025 and 2026 which activities they wanted. The aim, according to the town council, is to strengthen social ties and combat loneliness. Two days later, on 9 October, the same theatre holds the intergenerational gathering Menudos Abuelos y Abuelas. The concert is aimed mainly at older people, although entry is open to all by invitation until full.
Getting there and tickets
The concert is on Wednesday 7 October 2026 at 19:30 at the Teatro Garnelo, at plaza de la Rosa s/n in Montilla. Entry is free by invitation, collected from the theatre's own box office an hour before the start, until the capacity of around 300 seats runs out. It is organised by the Área de Servicios Sociales of the Ayuntamiento de Montilla as part of the A+Edad programme.
