What it is
“Tejiendo Mariposas contra las Violencias” is a community workshop that brings together crafts, socialising and awareness of violence prevention. Participants knit butterflies while sharing an afternoon in Santa Cruz, one of the outlying villages within the municipality of Córdoba. The activity is part of the programme run by the Delegación de Participación Ciudadana in the outlying districts, and is promoted by the Consejo de Distrito de Santa Cruz and the women's association El Laurel del Río Guadajoz. It is open to anyone, with no previous experience.
Getting there
The workshop is on Thursday 15 October 2026 at 17:00 at the Nave Municipal de Santa Cruz. It is free, needs no advance registration and the organisers provide all the materials. It is organised by the Delegación de Participación Ciudadana of Córdoba City Council, the Consejo de Distrito Santa Cruz and the Asociación de Mujeres El Laurel del Río Guadajoz.
