What it is
Bodegas Mezquita joins the FLORA 2026 festival with an unusual tasting: ten varieties of edible flowers and aromatic herbs, each paired with a typical product of the region and a drink. It is led by Mara de Miguel, named Andalusia's best sommelier in 2022, who explains how the aroma and flavour of each flower play off what accompanies it. The combinations announced include mint with quince vinegar, lemon thyme with orange vinegar and Sichuan flower alongside champagne margaritas. It is a way of experiencing FLORA from the table, in a small format of just 40 places, aimed at anyone keen to discover flowers as an ingredient.
Getting there and tickets
The tasting takes place on Thursday 15 October 2026 at 21:00 at Bodegas Mezquita Corregidor, in Córdoba. Advance tickets cost 28 euros, rising to 33 euros from 12 October. The places, limited to 40, are booked on the official Bodegas Mezquita website and are non-refundable. It is organised by the Bodegas Mezquita group as part of its programme alongside FLORA, the Festival Internacional de las Flores.
