A life putting words and music to his town
Under this motto, Emilio Pozo's family promotes a new tribute to the composer, lyricist, and Fiestas councilor of Puente Genil, deeply connected to his town's popular culture. The evening combines music, recognition, and literature, organized by Contracultura. This is the second memorial event this fall, after the flamenco tribute by Peña Vicente Cáceres in September.
The artists
Presented by journalist Manuel Curao, the stage features Miguel de Tena, Crespo Zapata, Manuel Cribaño 'Niño de Peñaflor', Bernardo Miranda, Jorge Vílchez, Los Jarales, Rafael Montilla 'Chaparro Hijo', David Caro, and Mariano Delgado, with a strong flamenco presence.
The book and the entry
One of the key moments is the presentation of 'Por el río de la vida', Emilio Pozo's book. The event begins at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23, at Teatro Circo. Entry is free until full capacity, so arriving early is recommended.
