What it is
The 51st Feria del Libro de Córdoba is held from 23 October to 1 November 2026, once again in autumn, and takes in the local San Rafael holiday so as to link that day with the gift of a book. The city's bookshops set up their stalls on the Bulevar del Gran Capitán, and the programme includes an official opening, book launches, author signings and activities designed for children. The previous edition drew more than 25,000 visitors, which has established it as one of the fixed cultural dates in the Córdoba calendar. The City Council contributes 100,000 euros to its organisation.
Getting there and tickets
The stalls are set up on the Bulevar del Gran Capitán, right in the centre, and entry is free. You can get there on foot from Las Tendillas or by city bus to the Avenida del Gran Capitán. It is organised by the Asociación Provincial de Comerciantes de Papelería y Librería de Córdoba, with municipal funding. The programme of signings and launches is published in the days before the opening. With the San Rafael holiday in the middle, Saturday 24 October is one of the liveliest days for strolling among the stalls.
