Flowers that contain flowers
«Flor Es» is the Lecturas en Flor 2026 exhibition at the Centro de Arte Rafael Botí, the Diputación de Córdoba's contemporary art space. Its subtitle sums it up: «flowers that contain flowers, flowers that imitate flowers». The show brings together ceramic pieces that reproduce, distort or reinterpret the shape of a flower with real fresh flowers, so visitors move from one to the other and the line between the natural and the modelled becomes part of the visit.
Who is exhibiting
The curator is Ignacio Collado, and the artists are Aniana Heras, Delamorylabelleza (Carlos J. Cenamor), Noemi Iglesias Barrios, Olivia Barroso Mariño and Yukiko Kitahara, with a special contribution from Córdoba's Escuela de Arte Dionisio Ortiz. The fresh flower work is by floral artist Ramón Luque. The exhibition image is a detail of «Love Will Bring Me Back to Life» by Noemi Iglesias Barrios, with black ceramic flowers.
Opening hours and getting there
The exhibition is open from 15 October to 22 November 2026 at the Centro de Arte Rafael Botí, calle Manríquez 5. You can visit Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 to 20:30 and on Sundays and public holidays from 10:00 to 14:00; it is closed on Mondays. It goes well with a visit to the FLORA patios, which coincides with its first few days.
