What it is / What you will see
«La eternidad del instante» («The eternity of the instant») brings together at the Córdoba headquarters of Fundación Cajasol the work of five photographers who are or were members of the Real Academia de Córdoba: Juan Vacas Montoro, Ladislao Rodríguez Galán «Ladis», Francisco Sánchez Moreno, Antonio Jesús González and Victoria Adame. The exhibition marks 200 years since the birth of photography and looks at how the Academy has embraced this art, from the photojournalism of Ladis and Antonio Jesús González to the art photography of Juan Vacas, Sánchez Moreno and Victoria Adame. The series on show include «El alma de la Academia», «Oscilaciones» and «Entre el cielo y la tierra», shot in Plaza de Capuchinos.
Who organises it
It is organised by Fundación Cajasol and the Real Academia de Ciencias, Bellas Letras y Nobles Artes de Córdoba. The curators are José F. Gálvez, president of the Córdoba photographic association AFOCO, and the photographer Francisco Sánchez Moreno. The exhibition has its own catalogue, with texts by the curators and several academicians, which can be read on the Fundación Cajasol website.
