What it is
The Federación Provincial de Peñas Flamencas and the Diputación de Córdoba are organising the third edition of the Festival Provincial de Copla en las Peñas, a circuit of recitals throughout October that reaches 33 peñas in 27 towns, the city of Córdoba included. The idea is to open up the flamenco peñas to another music that is very much our own, give a stage to copla singers from the province and draw in a younger audience. The 2024 and 2025 editions attracted more than a thousand people. The tour starts on 2 October in Palma del Río and continues through Montoro, Obejo, Espejo, La Carlota, Montilla, Córdoba, Priego, Villaharta, Adamuz, Fernán Núñez, Doña Mencía, Baena, Pozoblanco, Peñarroya-Pueblonuevo and other towns.
Getting there and tickets
The recitals are held at the premises of 33 flamenco peñas spread across 27 towns during October 2026, and are open to the general public. The first is on 2 October in Palma del Río; after that it calls at, among others, Montoro, Obejo, Espejo, La Carlota, Montilla, the city of Córdoba, Priego de Córdoba, Adamuz, La Rambla, Baena, Belalcázar, Bujalance, Aguilar de la Frontera, Belmez, Pozoblanco and Algallarín.
