Key points

- Recommended for children aged 6 to 8
- Ends with the Maratón de Cuentos at the Biblioteca Central
What it is
La Hora del Cuento is the storytelling programme of the Red Municipal de Bibliotecas de Córdoba. Its new season starts in October and runs until May, except on public holidays and during the Christmas and Easter holidays. Experienced storytellers bring books to life in sessions of 45 to 60 minutes designed for children aged 6 to 8. The year ends with the Maratón de Cuentos at the Biblioteca Central. It is the simplest way to get into the habit of going to the library with children: free, close to home and at the same time every week.
Times by library
Monday: Arrabal del Sur and Fuensanta, at 17:00. Tuesday: Moreras and Vallehermoso, at 17:00. Wednesday: El Higuerón and Levante at 17:00, Poniente Sur at 18:00. Thursday: Corredera at 17:00, Central and Villarrubia at 17:30. Friday: Alcolea at 17:30 and Norte at 18:00. During the session children must stay in their seats, and at the end the room is cleared following the staff's instructions. Organised by the Red Municipal de Bibliotecas de Córdoba.
