The Antonio Cañizares Exhibition Hall «El Perlo» in Iznájar presents from October 13 to November 24, 2026, a selection of photographs from the 1st Photography Contest of the Subbética, featuring the landscapes, nature, and monuments of the region. Open Monday to Sunday from 10:00 to 14:00 and Fridays and Saturdays also from 17:00 to 20:00. Free admission.

The Subbética seen through its photographers
The exhibition brings together a selection of images submitted to the 1st Photography Contest «Photograph the Subbética», promoted by the photographic association AFOPRIEGO and sponsored by the Mancomunidad de la Subbética. The photos explore the natural, scenic, and monumental values of the municipalities in the region: mountain ranges, night skies, festivals, trades, and historic corners, seen from different perspectives. It’s a great way to discover the region at a glance.
Opening hours and how to visit
It can be seen at the Antonio Cañizares Exhibition Hall «El Perlo» in Iznájar until November 24, 2026, as part of the town’s cultural program. According to the poster, it is open Monday to Sunday from 10:00 to 14:00 and on Fridays and Saturdays also in the afternoon, from 17:00 to 20:00. Admission is free. It’s a nice complement to a walk through the historic center and the castle.
