What it is
"Del diagnóstico a la medicina personalizada" (from diagnosis to personalised medicine) is the third and last talk in the series "Cómo hemos cambiado. 50 años de ciencia, salud y vida", with which the Hospital Universitario Reina Sofía celebrates its half-century together with the Fundación Cajasol and the IMIBIC. After the sessions on diet and mental health, this one focuses on breast cancer. It follows the same pattern: a look back at how the disease was treated fifty years ago, an accessible talk on current advances and a panel discussion in which the audience can ask questions. The idea is to bring rigorous health information to the public and improve health literacy in Córdoba.
Getting there and tickets
The talk is on Thursday 5 November 2026 at 19:00 at the Fundación Cajasol's premises, Ronda de los Tejares 32, Córdoba. Entry is free of charge. It is organised by the Hospital Universitario Reina Sofía, the Fundación Cajasol and the Instituto Maimónides de Investigación Biomédica de Córdoba, which publish the series on the foundation's website. The session includes a closing panel discussion open to questions from the audience.
