What it is / What you will see
The Conjunto Arqueológico Madinat al-Zahra hosts a new edition of Cuentos de las Noches Blancas, a programme of staged storytelling by the professional actor and storyteller Héctor Urien. The show draws on the tradition of the Arabian Nights and its cultural links with al-Andalus. With the spoken word as his only tool, Urien offers a Crónica imaginaria de al-Andalus: tales that conjure up the narrative world of al-Andalus and the magic of Eastern stories, on a journey between history and fantasy. All of it in a setting as evocative as the caliphal city, which makes the session a cultural outing with a difference.
Getting there and tickets
After the June session, two dates remain: Saturday 10 October and Saturday 19 December 2026, both at 12:00 at the Museo de Medina Azahara, in Córdoba. The activity is free, but capacity is limited to 50 people, so it is worth arriving in good time. It is organised by the Conjunto Arqueológico Madinat al-Zahra.
