Córdoba is once again joining European Mobility Week, which is held across Europe from 16 to 22 September. The City Council has not yet presented the 2027 programme; in 2026 it organised 39 free activities and free transport on Car-Free Day.

What is known about the 2027 edition
European Mobility Week is a European Commission campaign that takes the same dates every year, 16 to 22 September, and Córdoba takes part with its own programme from the Área de Movilidad. In 2027 it will run from Thursday 16 to Wednesday 22. The European theme and the Córdoba activities are made known at the end of the summer. As a guide, the 2026 edition brought together 39 free events: cycling and walking routes, school workshops, an escape room, concerts and a big mobility party on the Avenida República Argentina on the Sunday, as well as Car-Free Day with free journeys on metropolitan buses.
Getting there and what to bear in mind
The activities are spread all over the city and almost all of them are free, although some require advance registration on the Movilidad website of Córdoba City Council. Car-Free Day, on 22 September, is the best-known date: in 2026 free journeys were offered to anyone using the metropolitan transport card. The detailed programme, with times and starting points for each route, will be published in September; it is worth checking before you sign up.
