What it is / What's on

Palenciana Fest is a festival of street art and contemporary creation held in Palenciana, the smallest village in Córdoba's Subbética. For three days, from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 October, the village becomes an open-air workshop and gallery. The festival sets out to foster creativity and raise the profile of women artists, integrating their works into public space and promoting values such as equality and social justice. It is a good opportunity to see how the pieces are made, walk around the village and get to know one of the cultural events the Subbética includes in its tourism calendar.

Getting there and tickets

The works are spread through the streets of Palenciana, at the southern tip of the province and close to Benamejí and the A-45. The tourism calendar of the Mancomunidad de la Subbética gives the dates as 16 to 18 October 2026, but states neither times nor a price. As it is a street event, you should be able to stroll round the murals at any time over the weekend. Times for each activity can be found in the calendar listing at turismodelasubbetica.es.
