What it is
For the 2026-2027 season the Red Municipal de Bibliotecas de Córdoba is keeping its Biblioteca para bebés, sessions of around 30 minutes for children aged 0 to 36 months together with their mothers and fathers. They play with words, song and the body through stories, rhymes, songs and games. These are the remaining autumn dates: Biblioteca Central, Friday 16 October and 13 November (17:00 and 18:00, with Carmen Sara Floriano); Poniente Sur, Monday 19 October and 23 November; Fuensanta, Wednesday 21 October and 25 November; and Arrabal del Sur, Thursday 22 October and 26 November, these three at 17:30 with Pilar Nicolás.
How to sign up
The activity is free, but you need to register at the library itself; registration opened on 1 September. Each session takes a maximum of 12 families (one baby and one or two adults; older siblings cannot attend) and each family can request up to two sessions a month with a different storyteller. Priority goes in order of request and to those who have done the fewest sessions. You are advised to arrive ten minutes early, with mobile phones on silent. It is organised by the Red Municipal de Bibliotecas de Córdoba.
