A girl raised by the jungle
«La Niña de la Jungla» is a puppet show by the company Festuc Teatre. It tells the story of Liana, a girl left alone in the middle of the jungle who grows up surrounded by wild animals that, in their own way, look after her, keep her company and teach her to see the world. What at first seems a vast and dangerous place ends up becoming her refuge.
What children will see
The show combines adventure, humour and emotion, with carefully crafted staging and music. Beneath the story lies a theme children understand well: feeling different, wanting to belong to a group and discovering that bonds can form where you least expect them. It is a play to see as a family, in the late afternoon and with children, and lasts around an hour and a half.
Cosecha Cultural in the province
The show is part of Cosecha Cultural 2026, the music and performing arts series with which the Diputación de Córdoba takes theatre, puppets, flamenco and concerts to the towns of the province, in collaboration with each town council. In Hornachuelos it takes place at the Teatro Municipal Giuseppe Verdi. The Diputación has not published the price or ticketing system in its listings, so it is worth asking at the Town Council or the venue itself a few days before, as capacity is limited.
