What it is
Querida Amaya… is El Consorcio's new tour, a tribute to Amaya Uranga, founder and soul of Mocedades and El Consorcio, now retired from the stage. Her image and memory accompany every concert. On stage will be former Mocedades members Estíbaliz Uranga, Iñaki Uranga and Carlos Zubiaga, together with Allende Blanco Uranga, daughter of Sergio and Estíbaliz. It is a vocal group with a very recognisable blend and the only Hispanic act to have sold more than a million copies of a single sung entirely in Spanish; in 2016 it received an honorary Latin Grammy. The repertoire takes in songs such as Eres tú, Tómame o déjame, Secretaria, Desde que tú te has ido, Amor de hombre and Dónde estás corazón.
