San Rafael told stop by stop
On Thursday, October 29, from 17:30 to 19:00, Cecosam once again guides visitors through «La Ciudad de los Recuerdos II», the route of San Rafael Cemetery, on Libia Avenue. The tour reviews the history of the cemetery since its construction in 1833 and relies on QR codes placed at each stop, whose contents can be read or listened to in Spanish, French, and English. This is the second and final guided session of this route within the «Santos 2026» program (the first was on October 20). The route remains installed all year, so anyone can explore it later on their own with a mobile phone.
Free reservation on the municipal appointment platform
The visit is free, but requires prior online reservation at citaprevia.cordoba.es, the appointment platform of the Córdoba City Council: you must select Cecosam (Municipal Cemeteries and Funeral Services) as the center and provide your name, ID, and phone number. Cecosam has not published the number of available spots. For any questions, you can call Cecosam at 957 322 125.
When to go and how to get there
From October 23 to November 2, municipal cemeteries are open continuously from 08:30 to 19:30, and Aucorsa reinforces bus line E with stops at the entrances. San Rafael also hosts during these days the cycle «Música para el recuerdo» (violin and piano on October 31 and November 1), the performances of «Don Juan Tenorio» on October 30 and 31 at 20:00, and the All Saints mass presided over by the bishop on Sunday the 1st at 12:00.
