“Íntimo. Confidencias de un prestidigitador” is a show by the Miguel Puga company that steps away from magic understood purely as tricks. It combines illusionism, theatre and storytelling to travel through a magician's memories: objects, cards and recollections are used to talk about illusion and about the craft itself. It stars Miguel Puga, known as MagoMigue, two-time world champion of card magic after winning the FISM championships in 2000 and 2003 and founder of Granada's Festival Internacional Mágico HocusPocus, which reaches its 25th edition in 2026. It is directed by Julia Ruiz Carazo, who wrote the script with Puga himself, and the actor Javier Parra also appears on stage. A warm, poetic piece for anyone who wants to see magic as a performing art.
Getting there and tickets
The performance is on Saturday 10 October 2026 at 20:00 at the Salón de Usos Múltiples in Iznájar, in Córdoba's Subbética. It comes courtesy of Cosecha Cultural 2026, the programme run by the Diputación de Córdoba's Delegación de Cultura, which this year brings together 31 productions from different disciplines and focuses on the least populated municipalities. The listing in the Turismo de la Subbética agenda gives neither a price nor a booking system, so it is worth checking with Iznájar village council before you go.
