From 12 to 15 November Córdoba hosts the 38th World Cheese Awards as part of the International Cheese Festival Andalucía-Gusto del Sur: more than 5,000 cheeses from 44 countries, 350 international judges, an exhibitors' market, tastings and dairy forums at the CEFC. General admission costs €10 and includes a tasting of three cheeses.

What's on
The World Cheese Awards are the most important cheese competition in the world and in 2026 they are held in Córdoba for the first time. More than 5,000 cheeses entered from 44 countries on all five continents will be tasted by more than 300 international judges. Around the competition, the International Cheese Festival sets up at the Centro de Exposiciones, Ferias y Convenciones an exhibitors' market, the universal cheese exhibition, the Foro Lactópolis, a space for certified brands and an experimentation room with tastings and food experiences.
Tickets
General admission costs €10 and gives access to the venue, the universal exhibition, a tasting of three portions of cheese, the market, the Foro Lactópolis and the experimentation room. Trade accreditation, at €60, allows unlimited access over the four days and lets you follow the tastings and the competition final, subject to capacity.
