What it is / What you'll see
The Carrera Nocturna Running Alcolea reaches its fourteenth edition on Saturday 24 October 2026. It is one of the important races in the Circuito Provincial and in Córdoba's local calendar, and by the end of September it was already close to 300 entrants. There are races for runners from under-18s to veterans and for the categories from toddlers ("chupete") to under-16s. It is part of the Circuito Provincial de Carreras Populares 'Diputación de Córdoba' 2026, which brings together 58 races between 1 February and 31 December: 13 in the city and 45 in towns and villages across the province, with 24 races of 10 kilometres or more and 34 over shorter distances. Each race earns points towards the circuit standings, which conclude with an awards gala.
