What it is
“Cuál es mi nombre” is one of Da.Te Danza's most decorated shows: Premio FETEN 2015 for best show for children and the award for best female dancer at the FITC festival in Hungary in 2016. On stage, a sofa becomes a train, a rug a mirror, and a mound of grass comes to life among poppy lamps. The piece plays with identity and is a reminder that in childhood labels don't count, nor clothes, nor where you come from: imagination and a friend to share dreams with are enough. Movement, light and music envelop the young spectator with no need for superficial effects. It lasts about 45 minutes and is intended for family audiences.
