Philosophy for Everyone
“Dare to think” is the motto of Castrofilosofía, the philosophical encounters organized by the Culture Delegation of the Castro del Río City Council with practical philosopher Antonio Sánchez Millán. The idea is to bring philosophy to the streets: to meet, ask questions, debate, and listen to other points of view, with no prior knowledge needed. The sessions are open to anyone who wants to participate.
Quarterly Schedule
There are two formats. Philosophy workshops take place at the Municipal Library on October 26, November 23, and December 14. The philosophy cafés, a more relaxed talk, are held at Peña Flamenca Castreña on November 20 and December 11 (the first of the quarter was October 23). All events start at 18:00. Entry is free until each venue reaches full capacity. For questions or inquiries, the organizers can be contacted at castrofilosofia@gmail.com.
