What it is
Torpedo Party is the official launch party for two projects born in Córdoba: the label Magnetic Pie Records and El Submarino Producciones Musicales. Both want to promote, produce and give visibility to local acts linked to independent music, and to take them beyond the city. To celebrate, the stage of the Ambigú Axerquía venue brings together in a single night Tony Tunait, Volpina, Nine Fifty Seven, P.A. Barham & The Varlets, Mirror, Chitón, Mike Sun, Maquia and Jubilee. It is a good snapshot of Córdoba's current independent scene and a cheap way to discover several bands in one go.
Getting there and tickets
The party is on Friday 30 October at 21:30 at the Ambigú Axerquía venue, on Avenida Menéndez Pidal (14004 Córdoba), next to the Teatro de la Axerquía. Tickets cost €11.22 and are sold in advance on Woutick. It is organised by Magnetic Pie Records and El Submarino Producciones Musicales. With nine groups on the bill, the night goes on for several hours, so it is worth arriving from the start.
