The Qurtuba Quartet play carols and seasonal classical pieces, from ‘Silent Night’ to the ‘Waltz of the Flowers’, in a Christmas Candlelight concert on 20 December at the Hotel Eurostars Conquistador.

What you will see
A Candlelight with Christmas spirit: the string quartet Qurtuba Quartet perform by candlelight a programme that mixes carols and seasonal classical music. The provisional repertoire includes ‘Angels We Have Heard on High’, ‘O Holy Night’, ‘Joy to the World’, ‘The Little Drummer Boy’, ‘Los peces en el río’, ‘Campana sobre campana’, ‘Adeste Fideles’ and ‘Silent Night’, along with ‘Winter’ from Vivaldi's ‘The Four Seasons’, the adagio from Corelli's ‘Christmas Concerto’ and the ‘Waltz of the Flowers’ from Tchaikovsky's ‘The Nutcracker’. A single session, five days before Christmas Eve, made for going as a family too.
Getting there and tickets
The concert takes place at the Hotel Eurostars Conquistador, Calle Magistral González Francés 15, Córdoba. There is a single session, on Sunday 20 December at 6 pm. Each session lasts about 60 minutes; doors open 45 minutes beforehand and no entry is allowed once it has started. Tickets from €22; seats are allocated on arrival according to the zone. The minimum age is 8 and under-16s must be accompanied by an adult. The venue is wheelchair accessible. It is organised by Candlelight, the candlelit concert series.
