What you will hear
The Christmas Opera Gala is the second special concert of the Orquesta de Córdoba's 2026/27 season and one of the dates its conductor, Salvador Vázquez, singles out when presenting the year, alongside the New Year's Concert. The programme blends the emotion of traditional carols with operatic repertoire, in a Christmas celebration designed to show off voice and virtuosity. The star is the soprano Mariola Cantarero, who performs with the orchestra under Vázquez's baton. Unlike the subscription concerts, this gala takes place at the Teatro Góngora.
