La Carlota's Memorial Joaquín Sánchez reaches its 31st edition on Sunday 11 October 2026. The main race is open from the under-23 category up to veterans, and there are also races for the junior and under-18 categories, for which entries stay open until the race numbers run out. It is part of the Circuito Provincial de Carreras Populares “Diputación de Córdoba” 2026, which brings together 58 races between 1 February and 31 December: 13 in the city and 45 in towns across the province, with 24 races of 10 kilometres or more and 34 over shorter distances. Each race earns points towards the circuit standings, which close with an awards gala.
