What it is / What you will see

Córdoba city council has awarded the design, production and delivery of a Christmas video mapping show to be projected onto the façade of the Sánchez Peña market, in the Plaza de la Corredera, as part of the Christmas 2026 programme. The contract, worth 44,800 euros, provides for five days of work: set-up on 17 December, projections on 18, 19 and 20 and dismantling on 21. The council points out that this has already been done in previous editions with a great public response. The process had to be restarted this summer after a challenge to the first tender, so the dates may be adjusted when the programme is presented.

Getting there and tickets

The video mapping can be watched for free from the Plaza de la Corredera itself, in the historic quarter, about ten minutes on foot from Las Tendillas. The times and the number of showings each night have not yet been published; the city council will set them when it presents the Córdoba es Navidad 2026 programme. It is organised by Córdoba city council. As with other Christmas events in the centre, it is worth arriving a little early for the first showings of the weekend and getting around on foot, because the square and the nearby streets fill up.
