What it is
Tríptico infernal is an anti-war comedy by Lo Klaro Entertainment built from satire and magical realism to expose the absurdity and senselessness of war. Tomás Afán and Loklaro Producciones cite as references film classics such as Lubitsch's To Be or Not to Be, Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove, Chaplin's The Great Dictator and the recent Don't Look Up, as well as Fernando Arrabal's Picnic in the theatre. The plot begins when a world military power, having arrested the devil, decides to invade hell on discovering gas pipelines and oil wells there. Heaven protests at being left outside its territorial jurisdiction and the superpower, without a second thought, ends up declaring war on it too.
