What it is / What you will see
TitiriCabra is the puppet theatre festival organised in Cabra by the local company El Grillo, with the backing of the Diputación de Córdoba. The second edition, from 7 to 9 November 2025, brought together eight companies from Écija, Cádiz, Granada, Seville, Jerez, Argentina and Uruguay, with glove, rod, shadow and body puppets spread across the El Jardinito theatre, the Plaza de España and other corners of the town. The third edition returns in November 2026. One of the dates already confirmed is the show on 8 November at 5 pm being prepared by children aged 6 to 10 in the ‘Del cuento al títere’ workshop at the Biblioteca Municipal: they build the puppets and rehearse the story themselves.
Getting there and tickets
The festival is spread across several venues in Cabra. In 2025 the shows took place at the El Jardinito theatre, in the Plaza de España and at other points in the town centre. The children's workshop show is on Sunday 8 November at 5 pm, with free entry until capacity is reached. It is organised by the company El Grillo Títeres, which will publish the full programme, with dates and times, on TitiriCabra's social media profiles.
