The route
The Citizen Participation Department of the City Council offers a hiking trip to the Herrerías and Guadalora Orchid Trail, in the surroundings of the Sierra de Hornachuelos Natural Park. The route is about 8 km with medium difficulty, so some experience walking in nature is recommended. It is advisable to wear hiking shoes, bring water, and some food for the day.
Schedule and transport
On Sunday, November 8, 2026, the group departs at 8:00 from Glorieta Amadora, next to the Mercadona entrance, on a free bus for participants. The return to Córdoba is scheduled around 15:00. It is recommended to arrive a few minutes early to avoid missing the departure. The return trip is on the same bus, which drops the group off at the starting point.
Registration
The activity is free, but registration is required: sign-ups are open from October 21 to 28 and places are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. You can register in person at Centro Cívico Norte or online using the QR code on the poster or the municipal agenda link. Since places are limited, it’s best not to wait until the last day.
