Cross country in La Victoria
The La Victoria Cross reaches its sixteenth edition as the sixth event of the Miguel Ríos Provincial Cross Circuit, which previously visited Casariche, La Carlota, La Guijarrosa, Montalbán, and Santaella, and will conclude with the final on November 22 in Puente Genil. The venue is Tocina Municipal Park, a setting with water, trees, and open space ideal for cross country.
Categories and distances
All ages compete. The youngest, toddlers and pre-benjamins, run 150 and 300 meters; benjamín, alevín, infantil, cadete, and juvenil increase distances from 500 to 4,500 meters. Senior men run 6,000 meters, while senior women and veterans run 4,500 meters. The circuit’s motto sums up the spirit of the day: values matter more than winning or losing.
