About the event
The fifth Semana del Cine de Córdoba, CINEMA26, is held from 26 November to 3 December with the Filmoteca de Andalucía as its main venue and several cinemas around the city. It brings together a selection of the year's best Spanish cinema, with special attention to Andalusian productions, and awards more than €7,500 in prizes.

The festival
CINEMA26 aims to bring together a broad and varied selection of the best Spanish cinema released during the year, with special attention to feature films and shorts with Andalusian production or involvement. The Filmoteca de Andalucía, on Calle Medina y Corella, is the main venue, and the programme is spread across other cinemas in the city over the festival's eight days.
Prizes
For the first time the festival has prize money: the Cervatillo de Bronce for best fiction feature (€3,000), best non-fiction feature (€2,000) and best short film (€1,500), the Premio CINEMA Córdoba (€1,000), the Premio CINEMA Escuela and the Premio del Público Martin Cañuelo audience award. Films are entered through the Festhome platform; the programme of venues and prices will be announced nearer the date.
