The Virgen de Guía Returns to Dos Torres
The bringing pilgrimage is one of the traditional autumn events in Dos Torres, in Los Pedroches. Every year, on All Saints' Day, the devotees of the Virgen de Guía go to fetch her from her hermitage to accompany her back to the town. In 2026 it falls on Sunday, November 1, so it is a good day to join in with family, whether at the mass, part of the walk, or the arrival of the image in Dos Torres.
Schedule for the Day
The celebration starts at 11:00 with Holy Mass at the hermitage. When it ends, the image of the Virgen de Guía begins its journey to Dos Torres, surrounded by the faithful who accompany her on foot. The City Council has not specified the expected arrival time in town, so it is advisable to keep an eye on their social media that day if you want to wait for the Virgen at the entrance to Dos Torres.
How to Participate
No registration or payment is required: just show up at the hermitage before mass or join the procession along the way. The City Council invites all residents and visitors to accompany the Virgen on her return. For those walking the route, it is best to wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and some warm clothing, as early November mornings in Los Pedroches tend to be cool.
