The programme

Beethoven's Triple Concerto in C major op. 56 is music of conversation between violin, cello and piano, and here it is championed by three young soloists: the violinist Giuseppe Gibboni, the cellist Luka Coetzee and the pianist Gile Bae. The second half brings Elgar's Enigma Variations op. 36, fourteen musical portraits of the composer's friends over which hovers a hidden theme that is never actually heard. Salvador Vázquez conducts.

Single tickets for the subscription concerts cost €27 in the stalls, €20 in the central platea and boxes, €18 in the side platea and boxes, €15 in the amphitheatre and central gallery and €10 at the sides.
