What it is

“Paisaje inmóvil” brings 37 works by the Montilla artist Francisco Salido to the Sala Galatea at Casa Góngora. The exhibition offers a reflection on the abstract nature of pictorial representation: objects are taken beyond what they depict until they become signs and forms of abstraction. It is a chance to see a broad body of work by a painter from the province in one go, in one of the council's exhibition spaces in the old town, the house linked to Luis de Góngora. The exhibition is part of the cultural programme of Córdoba City Council's Delegación de Cultura and opened on 11 September; it can be visited until 18 October 2026.

Getting there and tickets

The exhibition is in the Sala Galatea at Casa Góngora, at calle Cabezas, 2, in Córdoba's old town. Entry is free until capacity is reached. Opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:30 to 13:30 and from 18:00 to 21:00, and Sundays, from 11:00 to 14:00. It can be visited until 18 October 2026. It is programmed by Córdoba City Council's Delegación de Cultura, which publishes more information at cultura.cordoba.es.
