Autumn colours in the sierra
The arroyo Bejarano, in the sierra de Córdoba next to Santa María de Trassierra, is one of the province's best-loved spots, and in autumn it fills with colour. Senderos Córdoba suggests walking it at a gentle pace along the arroyo Molino, the río Guadiato and the Bejarano itself, places that inspired the poets of the Cántico group.
Nature and history
As well as the scenery, the route passes remains of the past such as mills, copper mines, water channels and snow pits, and at each stop the guides tell their story. It is a 9 km loop of easy to moderate difficulty. At the end, anyone who wishes can stay for lunch in Trassierra.
